Danielle Grace Pimentel, from Fredericksburg, Virginia joined Old Towne Associates, P.C. as an Associate in August 2021. Ms. Pimentel handles a variety of employment and labor law matters involving discrimination and retaliation, as well as business and nonprofit matters.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Pimentel served as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for the City of Portsmouth where she gained trial experience litigating misdemeanor and felony criminal matters.
Ms. Pimentel earned her B.S. from Mary Washington University in Economics with Honors. While in college, Ms. Pimentel received the Henry W. Heweston Economics Award and served as Associate Editor of Issues in Political Economy, the leading undergraduate research journal in economics.
Ms. Pimentel earned her J.D. from Regent University School of Law in 2020. While there, Ms. Pimentel served as Senior Editor of the Regent University Law Review and received the Law Review Best Staffer Award in the Fall of 2019. She also served as Legal Research & Writing Director of the Moot Court Board, and as Presiding Officer of the Honor Counsel. She was also a member of the Hispanic Law Students Association. Additionally, while in law school, Ms. Pimentel was the recipient of an Academic Merit Award, the Ronald L. Fick Book Award, and the Wilbur Leland Brown Endowed Scholarship. During her summers she interned with the Honorable Michelle Atkins (Norfolk Circuit Court); the Legal Aid Society of Eastern Virginia; the Fredericksburg Public Defender’s Office, the American Center for Law & Justice, and with Davis Law, PLC.
In her free time Ms. Pimentel enjoys spending time with her family and their corgi, Millie, traveling with her husband, and baking sweets.
